🌳🌿 Diversity is the foundation of a resilient territory. Research confirms that mixed-species plantations significantly improve soil structure and water capacity, which resonates with the mission at #LAFERIA to build lasting natural infrastructure.

🌿 Mediterranean landscape features (LF) are more than just scenery; they act as functional buffers for the soil. These natural areas, which are central to the work at #LAFERIA, sustain the biological activity that is necessary for ecosystem survival in the context of climate change.

🌡️🌡️ The alarming findings, published in the European State of the Climate 2025 report, state that Europe is warming more than twice as fast as the global average. One of LAFERIA's objectives is to evaluate the costs and benefits of landscape features in helping agriculture adapt to climate change.

🚨 Carbon farming is a powerful tool, but it only works if the rules are transparent. ⚠️ Experts are raising concerns that new EU regulations might lack the quality needed. Within the #LAFERIA, we believe that we need scientific evidence to make sustainable farming truly work for the environment.
