A lot of leftists grew up in youth groups that preached fairness, mercy, service, truth, & acceptance, but made it VERY clear that no matter how much we studied, served, or conformed, those principles didn't extend to US once we figured out how who we were & tried to be honest about it.

That Devo documentary was so good. When I was a kid listening to our 45 of Whip It my mom complained that those were the idiots who wore bowls on their heads. I did not know about that and IMMEDIATELY went and got a bowl that I wore on my head.

Hit the Wong Kar-wai jackpot at the thrift on half off media day. I’ve seen all of these before but I’ve never owned them. They’re foreign versions but play on US dvd players AND have English subtitles.

One of the cool things I did at HeroesCon was flipping through Kirby original art with Tom Scioli. As you can imagine, Tom had many interesting tid bits.
