I'm beyond exhausted with the dominant visual style of Unreal Engine games. It isn't the rendering features per say, more the common very high contrast, aggressively tone mapped, aggressive volumetrics, overdetailed objects, just visual noise fuckin EVERYWHERE.

Sometimes I wonder if my sense of self is being eroded by how much I read 😂 I spend so much time piggybacking on someone else's POV. I've even felt legit dissociation when I have to put down an immersive book to wash dishes or take a shower. Do I have a problem LOL

Progress! Yesterday I finished up the eye physics and did the mouth rigging. There's some jittering but that's largely a tracking/tuning issue (Problem For Later™). I'm also planning on turning down the eye physics because they came out more intense in VTS. Head angles next week! #Live2D
