Spent the last two days painting my office. I can now get all the art from rad artists like @hellsimulation.bsky.social, Pablo Prada, Datura AD back on the walls and out of the closet finally.

Coming back to an office, where you have to dress a certain way & talk a certain way has been soul crushing. I’m not even sure why I’m here. No one else is. I work cybersecurity so most of my team is remote, as it should be. I thought we proved that for a lot of jobs, this wasn’t really necessary.

The first four felt like eight. This fours gonna feel like infinity.

Recently was forced back to the office for part of the week, despite no one on my team lives here or was forced to their offices. So these were the first three records I listened to back in this empty office…..

I can’t believe The Swords first record is almost 20 years old. Hearing it a few days ago brought back so many memories of living in Austin at the time…..

My work is trying to get me to come back in two days a week, even thought it literally would make my job impossible to do and I would get nothing done. Perfect representation of America. All face, no substance.

Glad that my governor doesn't care at all and will tell it like it is.

Sad that 6 years after making this, we are still in the same place.
