Thoughts on Marathon after the first few hours - It's got serious potential to be an amazing entry into the extraction shooter genre. It's approachable, but still incredibly unforgiving and is not pussyfooting its way around you. You WILL die during a run and you WILL lose. But it's not OPPRESSIVE.

So I saw the post about Larian digging their heels in about use of AI in the art conceptual phases. They've basically just torpedoed their multi-million dollar project in a few hundred characters. Quick take on the AI bullshit: It's a Pandora's Box that has been opened and likely can't be put back now, BUT it can be easily pushed down. Tech Bros tried to bet the farm on NFTs, crypto, and the whole "Web3" gimmick. And where did those go? NFTs died, crypto is dying, and "Web3" isn't real.

Tomorrow I WAS planning on going to the local RC track to brush off the rust and tune my cars, but some weather events have put a damper on that pretty quickly. So after I do snow cleanup in the morning, I will likely be firing up the streams to play...something. Dunno what yet.
