Here's the footage I've been trying to get for at least 2 years: A wood duckling. Someone posted to here there are photography friendly wood ducklings in Eureka, CA where you can use reeds as blinds. I knew there had to be somewhere within 600 miles. Yesterday 10 were reported. 1 survived. 🪶 🐣

From dusk 'til dawn... This photo is from early June 2021, from northern #Iceland looking due north from Sauðárkrókur, in the short period when the sun is below the horizon. Probably the only time on that trip I saw sunrise (a few minutes later)!
