We wrapped up our first camp of the season yesterday! Privileged to spend a week with the most incredible young people and volunteers creating endless mischief and magic. I’m lucky to be a part of such a dedicated, committed and adaptable team!

An incredible time so far at #RCPCH25 spreading the OTWC word. So many wonderful opportunities to share what we do and hopefully reach more families with our services! Lots of people interested in volunteering opportunities too. Very exciting! ☺️

As the week draws to a close I’m reflecting on celebrating one whole year working for OTWC. I’m privileged to work as part of such a dynamic and like-minded team to deliver the opportunities that we do to children and young people facing health challenges. Feeling very grateful right now.

I’ve been quiet on here! Anyway, our first round of residential camp place offers for our first three camps go out tomorrow. Blessed to think that there are some excited young people out there eagerly awaiting their place offer email! 💕

I’ve had a horrible headache by the end of the day for the past two days. I also realised earlier I haven’t used my Nespresso machine for two days. Are these two things linked? 😩

Just managed to catch up on the ITV Tonight programme outlining challenges faced by hospices. Children’s hospices are a lifeline for families. Medical care only a fraction of what is on offer; mostly it’s about supporting living and creating safe spaces. 15% statutory funding just doesn’t cut it.

I really want to play Baldurs Gate 3 right now, but I’m so tired that I don’t think I’d last long.

I had an absolutely astounding night seeing Paul Heaton in Liverpool last night. Supported by The Zutons and the wonderful Danny Muldoon. What a line up!
