Why is it always when you’re told “not to smile” for a photo that you end up with the biggest smile 😝😝😝 I was getting my new license photo today and as soon as she said “don’t smile” all of us burst into laughter and we had to retake the photo hahaha

I usually hate the time change but I’m seriously so excited for it to change! I’ve definitely learned how much I struggle during the fall back time change and much rather the spring ahead!

Just had a venue visit, So excited to host another sold out trivia tomorrow night! Days can be hard when you’re working independently and creating your own structure but then sparks of excitement come up that remind you that you’re doing exactly what you’re meant to be doing!

Got up early this morning and went to the market! Had a Gals & Pals admin meeting. Took a walk on the waterfront. Then came home and napped for a few hours so now I have a major second wind of energy 😝 Time for Scream singing and working on trivia questions for Thursday’s Cat Trivia event

Thanks to the election I don’t plan on visiting the US as much in the next 4 years so I just dropped my $85/ month Canada/ US phone plan down to a $39/ month Canada only plan… I’d have to be in the US for 46 days in a year to outweigh the savings so it was definitely worth the switch

The appointment went good today! I had an ultrasound and mammogram! A referral to a surgeon is going to be made to review the cause for enlarged ducts and debris in my ducts but I was told not to worry! They are going to monitor/ may do a biopsy as a precaution but that’ll be up to the surgeon

Tomorrow is finally the hospital appointment that I’ve been waiting for since September! Not sure what to expect as they’ve said both mammogram and contrast ultrasound on the phone so I’m not sure if I’m getting both done or just one but 🤞 it all goes smoothly! Hoping it’s just a cyst/ infection

Over here like “can I just bring Willow Firefly to my meetings?” I feel so bad having to leave her home tomorrow!

Today confirmed that I am absolutely ready to bring a new baby kitty into my life! Sadly the little one I fell in love with is already adopted but I spent so much time cuddling with her! Hoping to find my sweet little “Firefly” soon ❤️

Tossed and turned last night, was up at 6am, picked up a friend at 8am, drove just over an hour, volunteered judging a pageant from 9-3, drove 1.5 hrs home, decompressed for a few, then jumped back into volunteering at another event from 6-10… to say I’m exhausted is an understatement

Something I never would have expected to add to my 2024 bingo card- I was a judge for a #Swiftie Pageant today! All of the Taylor Tots were SOOOO cute ❤️❤️❤️

13 days until I finally go in for an ultrasound/ mammogram for health issues that have been freaking me out since September! Super thankful that one of my favourite artists is in town that night so I can get a little escape in after the appointment!
