PIT isn’t a “relationship rule.” It’s a poverty trap that punishes disabled people for proximity, not support. If a system assumes care where none exists, it creates coercion, dependency, and harm. That’s not policy failure. That’s design failure. Disabled people deserve autonomy. Full stop.
