Platner supporters are disgusting, demoralized people. The fact that there are as many as you would think, is a good indication that this country has a mental health crisis.

I'd argue the party isnt converting the non voters. It's converting the party to placate the non voters. And that's why the actual base of voters is at risk of displacement.
