Wondering at why I’m so very tired atm, and checking my pedometer app really explains a few things. Like stairs. Soooo many stairs.

I just power walked an hour to get home due to a city wide power outage. The only good point is my new boots have arrived. So I’m currently huffing the box for that new leather smell. 🥰

Today was my last day at the often frustrating and depressing animal care job. Considering the insanity that was today, I will miss none of it.

Reading a butternut soup recipe that says, I kid you not, “Pass mixture through a strainer to remove any remaining fibrous bits.” Why?!? Why oh why would you take the healthy bits out of the soup?!???? Just purée the entire pot with an emulsion blender and be done with it.

When I don’t get Amethyst out when they feel like I should, they climb on top of the tallest stick and stare at me. 😆

I asked a coworker for a cutting of their insane pothos… I ended up with the entire plant. This is ONE vine! 🤣 Now I just need some plant anchors so I can firmly attach it to the background. I still need to fit some small branches in here somehow. Going to make one gecko very happy.

Waiting on my freshly fluffed and buffed scarves to dry. Each one unique in their own way. The joys of handmade. It’s rain and clouds for the next few days, but hopefully I can get proper photos and post them up to IG for sale soon.

Omg. I had Amethyst out and she just tried to attack my eyeball. Thank goodness she missed on the lunge from my shoulder and got my eye corner instead. Silly gecko.

I just signed up to sell my art at one of the local comic shops. Goodness help me to finish some pieces quickly. I have 3 weeks! I haven’t done local shows in so many years, it feels more like the beginning all over again. Focus. Focus. Focus.

I’m so tired of discovering vinyl LPs that dropped five years ago, and I couldn’t get at the time, are now $75-90 if I can find them at all. 🫠

I’ve discovered bike joring and now I have almost an endless amount of dog videos I need to watch.

Was just sneaking up on my geckos to see who was making an odd noise. I didn’t know my dune geckos could even make noise, but apparently when competing for burrow door access they can. Who knew!

I’m down 2 pair of doc boots in a month and it’s just gutting me. My vampire purple ones suddenly started spider web cracking. Then the British flag ones, the white leather only started to tear. At least I can fix the tears, but the spider web cracks I can’t remember the product name for repair. 😭

Catching up on the headlines and whelp… I didn’t have piracy on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are. 🙃

I was really looking forward to a calm quiet morning today, but no. Of course there’s road work that involves a jackhammer. 😩

I really hope the heat comes on during the night sometime soon. It’s oddly not working and it’s definitely chilly in here.

I just found out that Hakuoki Sweet School Life is delayed from the December release date it had before, to now release is in February 2026. 😤 I might as well start a new VN game then while I wait.

My favorite friendly chameleon sold today. They are so much larger now! They were very unhappy about me trying to place them into a box. My poor arms are all scratched up now. Those little pinchy feet end in claws that mean business when they seriously want to hang on. I’ll miss you! 😭

Watching the latest Nosferatu film as the pre dinner entertainment. Doesn’t everyone watch horror over their holiday? I amazingly haven’t seen this yet, so friends insisted I get with the times. 😂

I just read vol 1 of 10 Dance… I have no idea how they are going to straight wash this for the live action movie. One character is constantly dropping explicit innuendos. If they cut those, it’s going to completely ruin his personality. Especially because he is so dry and tight laced otherwise.

Amethyst is solid asleep and I swear that stick is the only thing holding them up. I’m wondering if it’s going to remain strong enough to hold them once they reach full adult size. Or will I need to either get a larger stick or anchor this one better. 😂😅

Starting to wonder if my upstairs neighbor is suddenly single. He has started playing the guitar every night now for at least the past week. Also it’s otherwise shockingly quiet otherwise, where there was much laughter before. 🫥
