IT is a real test of patience. Even in 2025 when building a new VM with 16 vCPU, 32GB Memory & tier 1 storage just getting the September Updates installed takes such a long time. I know they moved to cumulative updates but it feels like the slowness predates that. It has been this way since 2016.
