OFFICIAL AUDIO DRAMA REVEAL

If I ever have the opportunity to be a voice actor in a game, I am 100% going to buy that game. This is especially true if it's an indie game.

So, I had to file a police report earlier this week because my guitar was stolen. I am so very frustrated because it was the guitar I started my music journey on. I've had it for 16 years, it was beautiful, and it was unique.

I just sent in an audition to @gamewithace.bsky.social for a voice actor. Here's hoping that I'm chosen, and if not, at least I tried.

I'm alive, I'm just having some issues lately, what with my household being sick the past few weeks.

So UE4/5 is running really show on my PC. I think I need to put things on hold until I can get stuff upgraded. I'll have to work on writing things down so that when I get a beefier machine, I can hit the ground running.

I want to remind everyone that your local library is both physical AND digital. You hate streaming everything because the price is ridiculous? Library. You hate ads because they're every 3 mins or less? Library. You want to reduce your digital footprint? Library. You want sourced info? Library.

My computer gets really slow when I start a project in Unreal. I didn't think it'd be an issue, but the wait time to load just the program, then waiting to load the project, is horrendous

When you record and stream in a closet without a door, you sometimes need to just make a door.

Question for those in game dev, and really anyone who plays games. What do you consider to be a smaller game? Smaller scope? Shorter time to complete? Small dev team/solo dev?

This isn't a big deal to some, but to me, it is. In August of 2022, I was 300 lbs. In March of 2023, I was around 270 lbs. Most of 2024, I've been between 250 lbs and 260 lbs. This morning, I am 240 lbs.

I've created a test project in @unrealengine.bsky.social so I can try things out before I fully dive into my project. I NEED to get these ideas out of my head because it's starting to drive me nuts.

Putting some feelers out for weekly voice acting workouts (far cheaper than classes/workshops), covering a different area on rotation every week for an hour 👀 Such as: Week 1 - Commercial Week 2 - Video Games Week 3 - Trailers etc. 😄 Probably on a Wednesday evening (GMT)
