Every year, I say and hope that the next year will be better. "This will be my year!" But after 2025 being one of the hardest years of my life, at this point, I just want 2026 to be boring and soft. I'm tired of being in survival mode. Give me a year of quiet, uneventful, and kind.

I told my community I would be spending December trying to save/push to be medical debt free before the end of the year. After having this ongoing debt for years, as of this weekend, I am now $483 away from being medical debt free for the first time in my adult life. SO FUCKING CLOSE. 😭🎉

In the last 18 months, I've spent over $20,000 on medical/health related costs for my chronic illness — supplies, medication, doctors, procedures, and more. I have about $2,000 left and I can FINALLY put this behind me. I've been fighting so hard for myself, and I am so tired.

My insulin pump has been out of warranty since the start of 2024—since then, I've been fighting with insurance companies and healthcare system for supplies I need to SURVIVE??? Now—for the first time in my life—my medical supplies and device are FINALLY!!! being 100% covered😭
