Scott Galloway followed a common-enough path into a non-tenure-track teaching position at a professional school: he was successful in the field. He was hired by NYU in 2002; his NYU page says he teaches branding. I suppose he's modeling branding by calling himself "Prof G" and opining. But...

Query for friends: does "inane" have any usage history tied to ableism? My understanding is that the etymology is from "inanis" (Latin), for empty void, and usage has mostly been tied to ideas and actions, not people. But I could be wrong!
