6 years ago, today, the (Mystery Dungeon:) Shiren the Wanderer Wiki became the Mystery Dungeon Wiki. 6 years ago, we'd still be on Gamepedia for another year and 2 months. We'd do this for ourselves, but it's nice to know other people benefit from and enjoy the work we put in. Thank you.

Wow. Turns out, getting rid of the Final Fantasy pages was one of the best things to ever happen to the MDFW. Due to some idiotic MediaWiki shit, if you have too many (arbitrary number of) custom namespaces, the search bar will only work for admins. We got rid of FF, now it works.

The Izuna Wiki is back online, and looking better than ever! Not gonan lie, I'm a little jealous our sister-wiki looks so much better than ours. 🤣 - Jubilee.

Is there anyone in our community who would be interested in designing a wiki logo? The Chocobo's Dungeon pages have been expelled from the MDFW. They're not a Spike Chunsoft property, and thus don't belong. At the request of Admin B, and Admin Adkuate, they've been given their own wiki.

In December 2024 we added dungeon item spawns to our Pokémon #MysteryDungeon Gates to Infinity pages. These were never documented anywhere before. Apologies to anyone who has been unable to use the search bar on the MDFW. redis has been turned back on. It was turned off because it would use up all of the system RAM, but we now have 100 GB of usable RAM, so it *shouldn't* be an issue now. Apparently it also hammers the CPU when turned on...

Here's a mostly filled-out Shiren 1 DS monster sprite sheet. It's missing the Borg Mamel, Shopkeeper, Sheriff, Guard Dog, King of the Kigny, Tainted Insect, Tainted Queen, and the Tainted Soldiers. Several of them have the wrong proportions and need to be recropped before being added.
