Aaaaand all of a sudden I'm doing a bunch of saxophone repair work. Tonight I used shellac and a small torch to reattach a key pad on my tenor and I just ordered a kit to re-cork the neck. I guess it was due for some love. 🎷

Hmm... AI gives much worse advice about Elixir compared to Ruby, Go, or TypeScript. Volume of training data seems to matter a lot.

I haven't done any TypeScript outside of React projects at work, so I wasn't sure what the workflow for "just write a small program to run in the terminal" would be. I ended up just using Bun (

Installing Omarchy on an ancient (2012) MacBook Air has led me ordering a replacement battery to address the horrible battery life. For about $30 this laptop that was gathering dust will be a very usable little machine.
