before xeph settled into their current iteration as a character, I fanta'd about once an expac as I went through msq, with the idea that they reincarnated into different forms across time. but once I got into this form I liked it too much to change again, so I changed their lore to suit lol

for basic adjustments: - Lightroom is a great AIO for basic balancing - Technicolor2 & Tonemap are nice colour filters - FilmicPass, MultiLUT, HDR to add a little oomph - contrast tweaks with Levels & DPX - Filmic Sharpen & Clarity2 for clearer shots, GAUSSSIAN for softer (1/2)

19 clears on 3 different EXs last night, with increased drop chances, and only 1 set of wings. which we only got because half the party intentionally sacrificed themselves in the last 5% of vali's health. this was definitely necessary. speen and her knight were not so kind.

my hot take is that any ability that applies with a timer should be able to stack to double the base length unless it's part of your basic rotation. death's design applies for 30 and can go up to 60, this should also be true of DoTs like dia and thunder

finally finished grinding out my relic this week. i fucking love that it's like vendetta got a level up. it fits xeph so so well

i don't click or use any side mouse buttons for combat. my hotbars revolve almost 100% around hand comfort. alt+5 and alt+T are the hardest for me to reach. i try to keep things consistent across jobs within a role as much as i can (eg. similar tank cooldowns, shields vs heals, movement tools, etc.)

xeph actually helped develop a training system that looks a lot like how we play xiv - they use their aether to telegraph orange danger zones on the training field, which flash red when "damage" goes out. it gets measured as "HP" by an aetheric gauge on the training armour. #XephreDrakis #XephBS

before they were more emotionally secure, xeph would lean into sexual advances and contact to mask their desire for connection. but even once they're better, physical contact is deeply comforting to them, so they'll probably steal a hug or kiss, or do a gentle headbutt/nudge. #XephreDrakis #XephBS
