If Cuomo makes an active run in the general election, I wanted to get a clearer picture of how much he lost support from his base since the last time he ran in NYC (2018 primary vs Nixon) & how much Mamdani ate into that base. Maps below now use same layout, color scheme, & ranges.

First post-Dem primary poll by Honan Strategy Group of 817 likely voters: If Cuomo runs as an independent, he is tied with Mamdani 39-39. Cuomo leads 44-40 if Adams drops out. Mamdani leads Adams 46-31 if Cuomo is out.

"I must have spent a great part of the weekend reading up on tariffs and I still don't understand them," NYC Mayor Eric Adams says at his weekly press conference at City Hall.

Asked what his main issue is with the Democratic Party, Adams says it's not "clearly fighting on behalf of those items that are crucial to working class people: Affordability, public safety, housing." He then declines to at all criticize Trump's sweeping tariffs.

Mayor Adams just delivered a brief address at Gracie Mansion after Judge Ho dropped charges against him, and at the end held up a Kash Patel book called "Government Gangsters" and said he found the "rationale" behind why the case happened in this book.
