Seeing a lot of orange butterflies around Los Gatos this week, I think they are California Tortoise Shells, possibly heading up into the Santa Cruz mountains. Not to be confused with Admirals, but similar to Painted Ladies. They like wild lilac.

Looking at the diagrams and flow charts of how the AI training works, semi-supervised learning, it reminds me of the process of dreams. I always say that being a writer is like dreaming while you're awake.
