Successfully installed new CarPlay head unit in wife’s old Element. Tried using this alpine I had with CarPlay and it was just flaky as hell. The kenwood I put in has wireless CarPlay and audio sounds better off the bat.

Almost got killed by wasps (slight exaggeration) was changing lightbulb in ceiling fan outside. Took it off, changed bulb, turned it on to test, was screwing glass jar bit back on bottom and they just start pouring out of the INSIDE of the fan... stupid wasps.

Spent this whole weekend working on my car and playing Hollow Knight. Car: oil change, new serpentine belt, new ac belt, all new suspension. Was supposed to be lower but it really doesn’t look like it so far. Hollow knight is great

My car is about to get more fun after this weekend.

Got the new Deftones album on vinyl. It’s a pretty gold color and the art stuff inside is great. Wish I liked the songs more.

Today was not my day. Had a clients backups all go down then a coworker let me know my tire was flat. I tried repairing the puncture it seemed good until tire pressure light came on halfway to pickup my kids. Changed to spare at kids school. Spare was covered in ants I didn’t know were in my trunk

Apparently today was national whiskey sour day. I’ve never had one so I made one. I didn’t have oranges though to use the peel. Was still pretty good

Just got spectrum fiber into my house. 1Gbps up and down. Since the coax was no longer in use I got a MoCa adapter and now have good wired network speeds throughout my house. Now I want to upgrade my router and switch to 2.5 or 10g.

Had a turtle buddy outside my door after a rain. Went back out 5 min later he was gone

Taking a crack at hardline tubing my water cooling setup. Was soft before. 3 tubes down 2 to go. Might redo one of them if I have enough.

Watched first two episodes of Alien Earth. I liked it a lot and the second episode ended with a Tool song so extra credit.

Been so rainy this summer I haven’t put up my pool. Until now! Water going in

Started printing a Sans mask/helmet for my son for Halloween. This print was 19 hours came out great though

Every summer we put up an above ground pool and it had a hole last year so I ordered new liner this year but I don’t donked up and ordered wrong size. No pool this weekend
