Post surgery recovery time after torn hip muscle revision is soooo very long. But here in my bed, I sure have a lot of time for books and for skin care. I'm getting younger by the day. Mmnm, unguents.

I forgot to update. I was released from the hospital yesterday, yay! My surgeon was more successful than he conservatively led me to hope for, and was actually able to reattach the sheared off gluteus minimus tendon! A dear friend is staying and helping me and my fam out. I am sore, but happy.

Last night, my husband and I thoughtlessly cut off a wicked witch in a Tercel, beating her to a parking space. Enraged, she turned us into ugly toad people, but it was not much of a curse, for we still loved each other. Kissing and embracing and exploring toady skin was so new. My beautiful love.

WHAT is that odor? Oh! It's me! i'm spoiled rotten! Today is my 59th birthday! This past weekend dear friends and my husband fed me lavishly, pampered me with company, garden produce, books, boardgames, and tarot decks. Today I am just at home with my legion of sentient dolls, but they love me!
