Having a "robust digital presence" is one of the core parts of OPB's strategy. It's time our digital producers like Sukhjot get paid like a core member of the team.

Hush was some of the best crime reporting I've ever experienced, period. It epitomized what OPB is supposed to be about, focusing on communities that often go unnoticed by the mainstream. Hush might be over, but the work is still out there.

On the day that @opb.org CEO Rachel Smolkin posted this video, saying OPB’s funding gap of $5 million was closed, I was also told by the Chief Content Officer that Hush was canceled. Eighty percent of my income, and my health insurance - gone. I was given no reason for the cancellation. 1/x

A truly amazing work by OPB's @lmiller12.bsky.social and Rob Manning is out today. They followed Oregon students FOR 13 YEARS!!! to document their lives from kindergarten through high school to track the goal of 100% graduation rates

My colleagues @lmiller12.bsky.social & Rob Manning did an amazing thing: when the former OR governor set a goal in 2012 of 100% HS grad rate by 2025, they followed one class of students from kindergarten -> high school. The *13 YEAR* project culminates in this beautiful documentary out today. Watch:
