If you’re looking for a fun, antifascist sci-fi multispecies buddy comedy book series (with a very good audiobook version), I highly recommend Dungeon Crawler Carl. I’m on Book 3 and it’s been a blast from start to finish.

I've never written Progression Fantasy before, so as I'm plotting the outline I'm really trying to be intentional with the *progression* aspect. How do the advancements line up with emotional beats? How are they communicated in a way that doesn't feel too gamey? Lots of things to ponder.

I’m moving on to Cradle books 11 and 12… can’t believe how quickly I’ve gone through this series!

Really trying to hone in on a key theme and logline before I start writing my progression fantasy novel. Not because I think I’ll 100% stick to it, but because I think I need that gentle nudge along the way to keep me on message and avoid unnecessary fluff

Just finished up Cradle Book 8, which is up there with the best of that series for me. My read rate is starting to look like an exponential graph as I approach the end.
