My mom and stepdad are from the same diaspora group as Zohran Mamdaniâs dad (same like âmy stepdad was kicked out of the same town and knows some of his classmatesâ) and apparently the New York Times doesnât understand how diaspora works, so I am going to tell you a little about my momâs people!

Fun issue to work on - so interesting to see the approaches to preventing/cleaning up oil spills. Lot of collaborative work throughout the basin. We've come a long way from the pollution levels of the past, but still a lot to learn!
