One thing that bothers me (besides the obvious) re: the Williamsport, MD detention warehouse is that its size rivals that of others proposed to hold 8,500 people. To confirm, I asked ICE to provide a copy of its detention reengineering plan for the site. Instead, they sent me a bunch of mugshots.

You don’t get to launch strikes, destabilize a region, close embassies, and then tell Americans to “depart immediately” while airspace is closed. If our actions helped create the danger, we are responsible for getting our citizens out of it. Anything less is a failure of duty.
