New year, new ... Just kidding. You're getting the same hobgoblin as always. However, it is a new year. So I have adopted a new habit. As many days as I can, I'm going to write. So long as I have the time for it. I'm going to update you with my word count.

This is my last post of the year. December 2025: It's not much when compared with other writers, but I wrote 3,979 words this month. And that's pretty good for me! I'll see you in the new year! New year, but I will still be the same feral hedge witch that I always have been. Stay wicked.

I did good yesterday! I hope to crush out this novel in the next few months. That's probably a lofty dream. But I'm making myself write as often as I can. When you want to be an author, you can't exactly chase the Muse. You have to sit down and actually do the freaking thing.

Yesterday, December 14th, 2025, was easily the biggest writing day of the year for me. I got nearly 1500 words in an hour. 1484. In only two half-hour writing sessions. It feels so good to get back to work on my own project! Hoping I can crush out quite a few more of these in December! #writer
