🧵 So I did a thing! I launched a new podcast today. The podcast is called “Pickle Me This” and it is all about sharing stories, of every day people, from rec pickleball play. In this climate of uncertainty, people are craving what matters most: human interaction.They need connection.

I would love to see posts from individuals let go from federal agencies, and in terms of what the impact of their job being eliminated will be to the American people. I (and am sure lots of others do too) would love to hear the stories on what the outcomes will be of these agencies being reduced.

I have always been one who tries not to speak about politics on social media because it is so decisive. But the past 3 weeks have crossed into a whole new realm. It's no longer politics and choosing a side. It's about doing what's right. for all of us.

Nothing brings me more joy than playing #pickleball with friends, like this afternoon. Stepping on our community courts is like putting on a warm, cozy pair of slippers. The people are so great. And the games are too.

When I led product, I pretty much also managed the engineering team and we designed how we work, our rituals (asynch & synch), communication expectations and how we made decisions. We’d revisit this time to time as the team grew. But designing how you work is critical to your success as a team.

In a really sad day of news, I wanted to share some happy news. My daughter got engaged yesterday! Fun story on how they met. My son-in-law set them up on a blind date. Michael and Erich have played on the same (beer league) ice hockey team for years. Now they get to be brother-in-law's too. 😁

As of today, I have no job. Feels oddly strange but also a bit freeing. I have had a FT job since graduating college. I decided to quit my FT job in August to be a solopreneur and open my own PM consulting/fractional business. Got an immediate client right away.
