Rare O-type star powers NGC 6164, a 4-light-year-wide nebula with striking bipolar symmetry. Just 3–4 million years old, the star will end in a supernova. A faint halo hints at its active past. Also called the Dragon’s Egg, it lies 4,200 light-years away in Norma.
