The 3 Chorlton councillors, myself, Mathew Benham and Tina Kirwin-McGinley were out listening to residents yesterday and discussing a wide range of local issues. A big thanks to the many Chorlton Labour Voice who joined us. A very positive response and plenty of casework picked up.

It was great to officially open the Greater Manchester Fair Trade event in Chorlton, which featured fair trade stalls (including fair trade footballs!), activities with an emphasis on sustainability, and great discussions on the importance of Fairtrade.

A stunning 1905 mosaic has been uncovered in Chorlton during demolition works. A go fund me is raising money for initial restoration of the mosaic, safe removal from the site and future relocation within Chorlton: www.gofundme.com/f/save-part-of-chorltons-heritage
