Bsky is apparently gonna start flagging whole accounts as nsfw soon so if you don't already know about your moderation settings, highly suggest switching nsfw from Hide to Warn; otherwise many creators will completely vanish from your timeline when they roll this out.

Yo @bsky.app this new nsfw filter is horrible. It hides whole accounts, I have to click through a censor bar to see what a friend thought of a movie because a year ago they drew a butt? We already had content filters, this just makes the site unusable and deters a chunk of your audience from posting

bsky too quiet? missing comments? not seeing posts from spicy artists? check your moderation settings and your bsky filters if you haven't configured these before, many of these will be set to hide as defaults

Hey @support.bsky.team, the new changes regarding hiding text posts from NSFW creators are extremely annoying. You are more or less forcing me to either adjust my settings so I see all NSFW or manually click every text post from my less-than-SFW friends. This makes the site less accessible.

remember: if you try to appeal to the general public and throw your own community under the bus to seem better, you will still seem weird and scary to them. you will just also hurt your kin in the process.
