This has blindsided me. It had never occurred to me that SCOTUS would use the Uncle Bobby's Wedding case to remove basic health protections from the children in an entire state - and the entire country, eventually? I knew it would have drastic effects on schools and teachers, and it has.

SCOTUS' LGBTQ books decision destabilized secular, public education by effectively giving religious parents a veto over curricula they dislike. I agree with @mtsw.bsky.social that this case could further harm public schools by making them unsafe for many children. The goal here is pretty clear.
