I'm going back to New York City; I do believe I've had enough.
I'm praying for a social media that is nothing but pictures of the young Robert Redford from now on. Is that too much to ask?

Ah god dammit. Joshua Clover wrote about both people and music as if he loved them so much he couldn’t bear it, & indeed he really did love them like this, to the joy of those he knew & shaped, & to the consternation of those who loved either less. What a loss.

Goodbye Joshua Clover, critic and poet, a singular brilliance who made good trouble. (And maybe a little of the bad kind.) The world shrinks and grows duller immediately with this shocking news. I feel lucky I knew you, and ache for those who knew you better. And who the fuck *is Mick Jagger?

If President Trump can wrongly deport a Maryland father to a prison in El Salvador and then defy a 9-0 Supreme Court order to facilitate bringing him home, who’s next? This threatens the rights and freedoms of everyone in the United States.

I also think the closure of liberal arts schools and the constant attacks on wide-ranging humanist educations are part of a push against the masses being taught critical thinking. Which sounds conspiratorial, but come on, this is getting real blatant.
