There's a reason why I've been quiet recently. The reason is called Raven, about 18 months old, and came to us last weekend. She is beautiful, and seems to be settling in ok🤞🏽... in the gaps between being EXCITED AT EVERYTHING!!! Ah, my heart...💗

Weird walking away before ko, a salmon going upstream *against* the flow of Lowfields tunnel! Crossed the bridge *past* the Dragon, up to the the footy pitches... with Marching On Together rolling up from the floodlit stadium. I'd rather have been in there, but it was a good experience. 💛🤍💙

It was a cracking run once I got going. Even improvised a reaquaintance with Eccup Reservoir, haven't been out there in *ages*. Finishing the year better than I started it... and after an 8+ month layoff in between I'm proud of that. ✊🏽💗

Long story short: I keep my small running gear in a box in a kitchen cupboard, directly above a small bin we collect the recycling in before we tip it all out into the big wheelie. This morning's NYD run was delayed by a long game of hide-&-seek...😱
