This final line from Giffen in @jimmcd.bsky.social's oral history of Five Years Later just hits a little harder tonight.

Keith Giffen has been a hero and influence since the first time I read him. When he just took a sharp visual turn in style, that shit made my life. The respect I had/have is unstoppable. Even his good bye is legendary and inspiring. RIP to a one and only.
