I only dabbled a lil bc I do not have time to get into it with all these other games rn but Guild Wars: Reforged is pretty decent on Steam Deck. Though you may have to manually swap to the official scheme in Steam and you’ll want to edit it anyway the trackpads work as mice for UI convenience.

Speaking of MP4, it’s absolutely insane to me that this game looks this good even on Switch 2 and the only graphical compromise on Switch 1 is that it’s a bit blurrier but still 60fps! Retro Studios are god damn wizards, I tell you!

If Metroid Prime 4 is anything to go off, I can deffo tell the difference between 120fps and 60fps but, thankfully, it’s just sorta nice and not a total game changer that ruins 60fps for me like I was worries. Though that could just be bc it’s the Switch 2 screen lol

I’ve gone back to chipping away at the dex for the Shiny Charm in PLA and I think I still prefer that to Z-A at least. The catching focus just has more legs long term for me over Z-A’s battle focus personally.

Good morning, BlueSky! We are awake earlier than usual but too early to pick up Metroid so I guess we’re just sitting here for a couple hours.

I have a week to play Metroid Prime 4 (and also Sonic Racing Crossworlds if they decide to actually drop the Switch 2 upgrade some time tomorrow) before the Pokemon DLC. So many things to play, so little time. Ah.

I think it’s gonna be my new favourite thing to tell killjoys “Go have some whimsy in your life”. It’s like telling them to go f- themselves but pleasantly so they can’t escalate it.

A short stream due to tummy ache but a decent one nonetheless! Gotta tell myself it’s okay to do rarer and shorter streams until I’m back to better health ☺️

I really hope that Mega Dimensions isn’t too awkward to hunt in and still somehow saves shinies despite the structure of it being rouge-lite-ish. I’m part of a very small minority that unironically has Mr Mime as a top 5, of course I want to hunt him!

I won’t even bother contemplating streaming Metroid Prime 4 when I get it on Thursday. It’s not even for chronic illness reasons this time, I just wanna sit down, shut up and get absorbed.

Despite the huge break I had to take and me still not being back to consistent yet, we still did pretty decent this year! Gonna make next year even better tho!

The one year me and Delaney decide “Yeah, let’s finally go to our Pokemon regionals!” is the year that Perth just doesn’t seem to be having them. Truly, a city going out of its way to maintain a reputation of having nothing to do.

There’s a lot of “inexcusable” graphical stuff in Legends Z-A that I genuinely think isn’t that big of a deal and I couldn’t care about. The LODs having people pop out and then back in? Yeah, that’s just broken and actually inexcusable. I can’t even think of an optimisation reason for that one.

It’s honestly criminal that the Switch 2 upgrade for Sonic Racing Crossworlds decided that it was gonna drop the same day as Metroid Prime 4.

I know they won’t but I think they should do a Legends game in the Orre region. It would give the game another unique aesthetic because the region is so different to the GF ones and it’d be a good excuse to explore how to make a new combat system based around doubles.

Forcing your issues with Legends Z-A into unrelated videos (like ones about Yakuza or cozy games) is a surefire way to make sure I unsub from your channel and never watch your content again. Like, move tf on. What does this add to what’s supposed to be positive video? Absolute hack behaviour.

My streams for the rest of the year are gonna be pretty sporadic for the sake of my health, especially since I don't think I really have any more big Z-A targets until the DLC is out. But 2026, I'm going to attempt to be more regular, consistent and maybe even find a schedule to stick to!

So I hooked up a USB C extender to the inside of the Switch 2 dock and tested it on my Steam Deck and it worked and looked way better than my cheap dongle so the Deck WILL be a viable 2nd console! 😊 But the springs in the dock kept pushing the cable out so I had to order a new Deck dock anyway 🫠

I understand SEGA delisting stuff when newer versions come out because the old version would cannibalise sales but…man, just have the old version available as a bonus for buying the new version and boom, problem solved! Everybody wins! Why must they be so difficult and weird? 🫠

Tempted to make next stream a return to the Scarlet: Indigo Disk SBQ instead of Z-A. Z-A is good but honestly I think I may need a tiny break before the DLC drops.
