Every year, CA workers lose up to $4.6B to wage theft. More than a decade after SB 855 expanded enforcement, a backlog of 47,000 cases remains. We spoke with the press ahead of our upcoming hearing to examine what’s failing—and what must change to crack down on wage theft.
