Cal/OSHA is broken and isn’t investigating many serious workplace injuries. AB 2321 would allow local prosecutors to take on investigations of workplace accidents where an employee dies or is permanently disabled, giving workers and families a chance at justice.

Nurses and healthcare workers are being pushed to use AI more and more. But what happens when AI gets it wrong? My bill AB 2465 empowers nurses to push back when AI is wrong, and ensure that AI is used to support their clinical judgement—but never to replace it.

On National Equal Pay Day: for the first time in 60+ years, the gender pay gap has widened two years in a row. Women earn 81¢ per $1 men earn—less for women of color. We’ve made progress, but we’re losing ground—and we refuse to go back. We need equal pay for all!
