Social media has taught us that numbers are the most important thing and rage is the way to get it. Leave that lesson in the dust. Be friendly, be respectful, and most of all, love something with your whole chest. Make jokes and art for you, and you'll find the people like you.

If there's one piece of advice I can give, it's "love what you love loudly." It can be hard to find folks who share your taste. The best way to track them down is to be a beacon and let them flock to you. No one walks into a building without a sign on the front- you gotta decorate the windows!

Feeling it more than ever at the moment but life is just too short to be coy about what you like. Be honest and put yourself out there, and support your friends when they do the same <3

Don't stop creating. Don't stop being kind. Don't stop thriving. Don't stop spreading what good you can in this shitty world, because we need it more than ever right now. They only win if we bury our head in the sand and give up. Joy is an act of resistance. Fight on. <3

Today is important, but so is your emotional well-being. I know it's easier said than done, but please try to refrain from subjecting yourself to unnecessary stress today as much as possible. Your friends and allies will be here regardless of outcome. We will survive because we have each other.

I was struggling to get some sleep and now seeing the results of this election, it has devastated my heart. There are no easy answers but now more than ever we must look out for our loved ones, our neighbors, and our communities and defend ourselves from those who seek to harm us.

Oh yeah, one more thing. If you voted for the orange guy? Unfollow me. Block me, even. Never interact with me again, anywhere, in any capacity! I don't know you, I don't want to know you. :)

He is so hostile to me and my friends existences, if you haven't come to that conclusion yourself, you are intentionally head-in-the-sand ignoring reality, and you pose a threat to us. That is not a 'difference of opinion' that represents an acceptable disagreement. Leave if you want him around.
