THREAD: I think Metroid Prime 4's story/progression suffered major cuts and changes before launch. The more I think about it, the more some things straight up don't make sense, or seem left out/changed at the last minute to get the game through the gate. Spoilers for Prime 4 coming, obviously

Prime 4's story has made me sad. Deflated. Underwhelmed. It's weightless and meaningless and it makes the game worth less as a result. The game would be way better if Sylux wasn't involved at all. It feels like a lot of his story was cut.

It's a massive shame that the build up to Metroid Prime 4 has been paved with endless controversy and discourse. I am so excited for this game to come out, but I wish the internet wasn't trying to ruin that!

This seems like a great update, I just don't understand why there is no resolution or performance bump included? There is no clear pattern for updates in the switch 2 era, which is very off-putting for playing or purchasing original switch games.

I wonder if we'll have a Metroid Prime 4 overview trailer ahead of the press previews on Friday? Makes sense to actually show some of the mechanics and features before the press talks about them!
