had a DELIGHTFUL meeting today where the whole team was just yapping and yarning about what the world of Dungeon Pizza is like; what happens of the surface, how does a dungeon impact the local economy, what kind of tax breaks there are for adventurers, etc

a few years ago numerous publishers told me they couldn't possibly invest more into making horse-focused games, it's just too niche, the audience just isn't big enough, there's just not enough people interested in sorry I can't hear you over the sound of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE WANTING THIS

Just now learned about an artist named Takahiro Kanie who did a bunch of really nice official mario art exclusively for things like jigsaw puzzles and shampoo bottles

it's my first proper day off in a long time and i've been spending it finally diving into this gem i picked up months ago!! opened the case and was shocked to see the instruction manual and the original receipt from when it was purchased 😂 someone took good care of this before me!!

feeling sappy atm but it's just astounding to me that there's this invisible mass of people who saw the thing i'm making with my friends and were like "yeah i fw that" 🥹
