2025 has been a year with a lot of ups and downs for me (going to try to avoid discussing the larger state of the world, but it certainly has played a substantial role in a lot of things).

Turns out, I did actually catch the aurora borealis on the first day. Didn't realize it because I couldn't tell if I was seeing aurora or clouds.

Tried to get a picture of the aurora borealis tonight, but results are uncertain. Still need to clean up the photos, but at least I've managed to figure out a little more of night photography. Too bad the CME from the X5.1 flare earlier will likely hit during daylight hours (for me).

This suit was finished August 2024. It's been to 3-4 conventions. I'm still pulling pins out of the body today. This is both impressive and concerning, and I'm fairly certain that there are still a few pins I have yet to find.

When the behemoth gets to take down an entire party of heroes. #FursuitFriday picture from the Connecticon Final Fantasy photoshoot. Wish I could have also found the Monster Hunter cosplayers while in suit (the behemoth fight in World is brutal).

So quick moderate effort shitpost. But the end result is Loss Lizard Wizard

In a similar vein, it turns out my current washer is just large enough to fit the behemoth bodysuit. That saves me roughly 12 hours of cleaning work. I may be bringing the suit out to more events knowing this.

Designing characters is fun. Knowing how much work said designs are going to create for me down the line, less fun. Then again, the challenge is somewhat the point, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Was feeling frustrated with my art, so went back to do a study from reference. Not a perfect match, but I feel better about my art after doing this. Plus, some much needed landscape practice. Still a lot of work to get where I want to be, but at least I'm drawing.
