Last night Cortland County’s congressmen John Mannion and Josh Riley did as we asked, voting against the Homeland Security funding bill (see Mannion’s strong statement below). Sadly, Hakeem Jeffries could not keep his caucus together and 7 Democrats joined Republicans to pass the bill, 220-207.

New data reveals federal immigration agents have shot at people in vehicles at least 15 times since July. "These incidents cast new light on the Trump administration’s aggressive and, in the view of critics, reckless federal crackdown on American cities."
