So, was discussing this with my spouse (Garma's complexion) and mentioned that I've seen a lot of translated doujins refer to him as "pale." Spouse has studied Japanese extensively, did a bit of research and told me that there is a word in the language that can mean either "pale," "sallow" or both.

Starting up my 0079 novels read thread. (This will probably go fast. The 3 volumes combined are less than 500 pages.)

I'm not sure what my next Gundam series will be now that I've finished at least the major UC arc. I'm going to let my spouse choose and set the pacing since they like to watch things slowly, yet I made them speed-run 0079, Zeta, ZZ and CCA over the past few months, haha. They're very patient w/ me.

I watched this last night and it cured me of the trauma caused by CCA. 😂 I couldn't really do a watch thread because my commentary every frame would have just been "REALLY? They went there?!" Like, I don't think it is possible to overstate how unhinged this mini gag series is, but it was lovely.

In retrospect, it was probably not a good idea to: 1. Watch something that I knew had the potential to mess me up when I was already already a bit emotionally messed up due to real world things. 2. Do a watch post of said thing as literally my first watch post I've ever done. 😂

Most disappointing thing about ZZ (other than the notable absence of Char and Amuro) was the lack of Haman backstory. She's hot and I want to get to know her better. (I guess I'll have to read the novels for that.) Most fulfilling thing about ZZ was Kamille.

My spouse and I finished ZZ tonight. Which I guess means it's time for CCA. Probably this weekend. I'll do a watch thread, even though I know it's gonna mess me up to see Babygirl regress. I'll probably also complain about how buff he is the whole time. Stay tuned. 😂

Life is full of tough choices, like whether to keep sitting here working on this Charma fic I'm currently writing, or go watch my spouse play SRW. There needs to be more time in a day, to consume ALL the media, make ALL the fan works...and occasionally do laundry and stuff.

Char in Zeta is so fun because in the original he's wearing bright warning plumage and constantly spouting "welcome to my dark twisted mind" shit. In Zeta he's all like "hello it is me normal man Quattro Bajeena" and he is 200% more insane
