Behold my creation. I’ve been fearing the demonic flesh of my demonic adjacent models for a a while but I cooked up something pretty good imo. Just having a decent idea of what to for the fleshy bits opens so many doors. Wonder if I could kit bash spice thing out of a bloat bloat drone next

I’m still very much healing so I probably can’t do too much fine detail painting but I want to get done some work on a larger model. I can either probably finish a rihno or do the demonic skin of an obliterator, which is important as I’ve added a lot of demon engines to my collection

I’m doing the dumb thing, im gonna get a shield captain to try and paint up super nice with nnm and the works and if it isn’t too grueling I’ll probably pick up more over time to have as a nice super small second army, plus it’ll be good practice in general

I’ve seem to have realized what’s felt off about some models and not other is is the lack of mid tones, some times my glazes go straight from hellspawn red to my purpleish mix, completed ignoring burnt red or the BR/HS mix. Same recipes, similar lighting, with very differnt finishes

Had surgery yesterday and was expecting to be well enough to get some painting done… I did actually think since it was a relatively simple surgery I’d have minimal bandages and less of a headache but look like I’ll be taking the next few days off to rest

Originally I was going to only use helmeted heads for terminators but this one works pretty good with the missing eye. I’m actually not the biggest fan of regular heads, I prefer helmets. A lot of heads look off on CSM bodies , the proportions just dont line up

I’ve got way too much stuff to paint clones, corsairs, conan(darkoath) to be super pressed on making sure everything is perfect. If I’m that pressed I’ll reserve it for characters

*Rant*need to be more mean to dumb people on the internet, “I’m a commission painter, your asking price is way to high”. it sold, didnt it. 9/10 times I undersell myself cause I’m looking for a quick buck and when I don’t the brainlettes show up…
