#TheTwen2ie5 - Day 3 48. "Kyoto" Phoebe Bridgers 2020 USA ISC: Y NKC: Y Everybody agrees this is the best thing Bridgers has done (well, solo at least). And the rest of her catalogue is not weak! But "Kyoto" is undeniable. The verses are witty, personal, cutting. The chorus: Absolutely epic.

In what sense will America still exist? Probably in the sense that it sounds like a pluralistic society built largely on the hard work of immigrants, with freedom of religion and birthright citizenship enshrined in the constitution, and leaders who reflect their communities.
