At work we have a "pet wall" dedicated to workers pets, and it was recently redone with FAKE MAGAZINE COVERS OH MY GOD LOOK AT MY BABY

My poor sweet baby went to the vet today for a checkup and vaccines. She was incredibly brave and sweet and got through it okay, and now just wants to chill under the bed and/or couch. I really do love her so much.

Beer thoughts! A local brew from Kiitos Brewing. (They also make an excellent LGBTQ+ beer with edible sparkles.) It's got a subtle sweetness to both its smell & initial taste. Very drinkable, very tasty. I think it's just seasonal, but hopefully not as I'd love to see this year-round. 8/10

One of my stocks was down around today and it was because they didn't make quite *enough* money? Profits up, beat sales expectations, etc. Just not disgustingly so. Can we, like, stop aiming for endless growth and nauseating levels of greed and just, I dunno, be happy we made any money at all?

Beer thoughts! In Utah, you aren't allowed to buy any liquor above 5% abv (because Yay Joseph Smith) in most places, so I took a little trip to the local heathen hole to grab this Violet Fire Heavy Lager. It is surprisingly light, crisp, drinkable, and a tad bit sweet on the way down. 7/10.

I remember watching one of the Saw movies back in the day, and (spoilers?) a woman had to open a metal trap placed on her head or it would explode. She didn't get it off in time. The whole thing, blood and brain matter and all, was shown on daytime TV without any sort of censorship. 1/2
