going to try this for my next test account migration.

looks like when you use your own pds there's nothing telling you to setup the DNS records. it just lets you use a handle.

we really need a way to self host bsky chat so it doesn’t stay centralised.

oh ffs. the reserved usernames on a PDS are hardcoded which means i cant make an account called pds.rant.cafe on my own pds.

why's self hosting a pds with @railway.com gotta be so hard.. the only template that exists is really weirdly setup and forces you to use a thirdparty pds admin web interface for commands.

so two posts blocked when they shouldnt have been, both didnt have the appeal button and now the account is suspended without them telling me which post violated the guidelines. bruh..

the message screen about the account being suspended doesnt even work. i get kicked back to the login before i could even see this. i had to screen record and then grab the single frame that showed it.
