It’s unarguable that folk are being scammed by Cask Investment firms. It’s the shit side of whisky that no one involved in the industry - as a hobby or a career - should have anything to do with. You can’t plead ignorance - its in the news, Panorama exposes etc. The folk who went should be ashamed.

Due to 'factors' (an intimate bum procedure a few years ago) I still have a ring cushion on my office chair. Mrs WW has used the computer for some bits today and didn't put the cushion back. I say that's bad etiquette (similar to not putting the seat down). Thoughts ?!

I hosted another #AmateurDramAddicts blind tasting, last night. Two bottles really stood out and I'll put a reveal on here later. The takeaway from the evening was... "never turn away from an IB".

Whilst this #LochLomond was a great dram (especially for the price) I did struggle with it. For me the flavours were too tropical and too sweet which, when it had been open for a while, led to it being quite tarte. However I'm looking forward to future LL drams to buy and try 👍

It's my 12th Father's Day so I'm chewing this wonderful 12 year old dram from #WolfburnDistillery which was the monthly dram from #WhiskyPioneer It's such an exciting dram that has citrus, black pepper, some ginger and is wonderfully chewable. #Whisky

I've raided the #Whisky library and decided to go with this #BerryBrosRudd sherry cask. I think it was released a few years ago and, maybe, being decanted into the smaller bottle didn't help but it's super drying.

Due to my daughter being sore / healing from surgery we are using her hoist more. She's non mobile, non verbal so the hoist takes away any stress on my back but we listen out to positive happy noises from her. And she ruddy loves using it! #CanavanDisease #Disability

Now this @glasgowdc.bsky.social is more me. I'm a deeper fruits, darker flavour kinda guy. The nose of blackberries and apricots with the palate of cherry, hazelnut and chocolate really excites me!! Easily this is 8/10, maybe 8.5. What a dram.
