I was going to write, truly I was. And then I fell down the well of doing other productive things. So... Oops? But also... Yay? I have a starting point and some research for something I've been putting off *far* too long. So... Yay? Anywho, NOW it is time to read where I left off and start!

My warm-up today was both cathartic and depressing. I feel like that fits the brand pretty well. A friend and I were comparing notes, and... Yeah. So I wrote this. I hope you can't relate, but if you do? Well, at least you aren't alone. 💚

Hi. My power just went out and I'm losing my mind. *flops dramatically face-down on to the ground, dissolves into a pool of tears* Should I write on my laptop I don't have access to any of my WIPs. :(

Did I do any of the new quest? No. But I did climb Monsieur Neuvillette onto Wriothesley's ark and play all the new Myriad Melodies, so I'm still playing the game correctly in my own way.

I have consumed the vegan pizza, guzzled some water, taken the vitamins and the meds. It is time for me to be productive! But what if, instead, I accidentally doom-scrolled for an hour. ... Or two. *sigh*

Meant to write "just a bit more" and ended up with another over 1K. shrug.jpg Should probably sleep now, though, unfortunately. Hopefully I'm able to pick this up later today/tomorrow. 💚

Just about 6,400 words written last night. And I managed to eat an actual meal *and* drink water. Success? This feels like success.

Trying to stay positive and writing helps with that.

Two weeks of OWB in the bag, started on a third. Decided to take that motivation and shift to another story. I hope I can keep going with this, it's... I really like the way my brain feels when I'm writing a lot, it feels... Less... Not good.

Got a tattoo today, it's been about ten years. Holy shit, I forgot how much I like getting tattoos.

Sometimes the 'permission' feels more like 'pressure' though and I end up not really being able to work on anything because "I should work on this over that- But really why am I not writing for this" and so on. I just... Think I need to work on whatever it is that I want to work on, drop the guilt

Also, though, I do wish that I could direct that creativity to some of my other WIPs, lol. I installed the "once a week" upload limit for OWB to help mitigate potential burn out, but also to give myself some kind of... Permission, almost, to work on other WIPs.

Welp, inspiration hit and *next* week's OWB chapter is done, so there's that. I can't help but remember how, when I was writing IFD, I used to just free-fall upload on that. More than once I'd posted several chapters a week. It's really, really nice to feel so much love for this story.
