Keyboard & Mouse. 90% of my gaming history over the decades has been on PC, so using a controller for anything besides shooter games just feels...wrong to me. Especially on RPGs with a lot of buttons. I can't imagine trying to map them all on a controller.

What I enjoy the most of people making OCs. Is seeing them slowly grow more and more attached and loving their OCs. Writing about them. Drawing them. Talking about them. Writing ideas about them. That joy is wonderful and brilliant

LRP It still amazes me how many people have blocked/gotten angry at me for saying "this is my cozy spot away from everyday life". Like, okay, let me...a 56-year-old woman w/ hypertension and anxiety just immerse myself in the horrors 24/7 so I can have a mental breakdown and/or die of heart failure.

In the midst of everything going on I'd just like to remind people that just because others are not speaking about world events in their fandom accounts it does not mean they are unaware or don't care enough about it to discuss, engage and try to take action in their personal spaces.

I always get a giggle when the travel bots latch onto my posts about Sanji because his last name is that of a Japanese town.

Only downside of the vacation so far (aside from the drive) is that I miss my kitties! My ex is taking care of them while I'm gone, but it feels weird being without them. I even woke up in the middle of the night, thinking I'd felt one of them jump on the bed, but alas....😔

Having a nice chill day at the AirBnB since it's hot out and daughter's got a D&D session for most of the day. This book was part of the mini library here and I HIGHLY recommend for anyone who writes or wants to. Loads of great advice and exercises.

All my grumbling aside, my first day here was wonderful! The weather was nice and we spent all afternoon roaming the campus and town,while she gave me the tour. We had yummy lattes and Mexican food, took selfies w/ the mascot, and just had a great time catching up.

Hyperia has AuDHD (though she'd never admit it)! She's more comfortable around machines than people and she becomes very frustrated when people don't act rationally. She gets very hyperfocused on whatever project she's working on, but is also easily distracted if something just as interesting >>

I can honestly see this as a scenario between Sanji and Hyperia in Garlemald after she wakes up from being cured of her tempering. Especially since the last time they'd seen each other was in Ala Mhigo when they fought each other on opposite sides of the liberation, but neither prevailed.
